Good Sunday morning everyone! Wow! What a tournament these baseball boys have had! They won all four of their games to put them in the championship. But then lost there. I loved it, though, as they didn't go down without a fight! They gave it their all and we are all SO proud of them! What a totally fun tournament! The only hard thing to happen is that we have a family moving to another state and we had to say goodbye to them as this was their son's last tournament with us :( They will be dearly missed.
Today's card is one that uses some new stamps. I was messing around with the new Serene Silhouettes stamp set and came up with this one. Not quite what I was going for but I thought it came out fine. It is super simple!! I took some Crumb Cake card stock and stamped the image in Crumb Cake and then a few times more without re-inking. I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Essentials in Basic Black. This is adhered to a piece of Basic Black and then I added three black brads under the sentiment. This panel is popped up onto a card base of Crumb Cake. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!!
Card Recipe: Stamps- Serene Silhouettes, Sweet Essentials; Paper- Crumb Cake, Basic Black; Ink- Crumb Cake, Basic Black; Accessories- black brads, dimensionals
I love this card because it covers so many bases. It is elegant in its simplicity; the colors are masculine but the image is neutral so you could send this to anyone; and the layout is classic--layers, but not too fussy. Wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteI love your card and cased the basic design...just changed up the colors a bit. I love how easy it is to make, yet how nice it looks. TFS
