CAS(E) This 63

Good morning, Friends! Well it seems like the weekend has flown by! I'm so glad that I will get to spend the majority of my day today stitching with friends! Becky and I will have breakfast and then it's off to Black Sheep! So relaxing! Hopefully I will even start to feel this head cold go away!! Ugh! It has been fun watching the Olympics, too! And the weather report is reporting rain and warmer temperatures for us this week! I think that's the best news of all! Rain will definitely feel like spring is on it's way!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) This. A super easy sketch and very versatile! One that is open to a lot of creative possibilities! Will have to use this one again! Here are the details:

  • Card base is Blushing Bride
  • Stamp the image from You're Lovely in Blushing Bride onto the card base
  • Stamp the frame image onto a piece of Naturals White using black StazOn then cut out using the Deco Labels framelits
  • Stamp the sentiment from same set in the frame using black StazOn
  • Color image using Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding and Soft Sky inks and a blender pen
  • Stamp the image again onto Naturals White and color just the flowers using Bushing Bride ink and a blender pen
  • Cut out the flowers and adhere them to the original stamped piece with dimensionals
  • Adhere framed piece to card with dimensionals
  • Add pearls to flower centers and stamped image on card base
Super simple!! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

  1. Love this simple card, so effective and looks great in Blushing Bride, which is not a colour I use often. The paper piecing really makes the flowers stand out too - worth the fussy cutting!
