Color Throwdown 278

Good morning, Friends! I hope that you all had a fabulous start to your week! We got a lot of rain yesterday but today looks to be clear and sunny. I love how the rain washed away the inversion and made the air clean! And the mountains got lots of snow! I had my stamp club last night and it was so great to see the ladies once again! Always so much fun! I also did a mountain of laundry yesterday! So today I think I will do some stamping and maybe catch some Olympics! What is your favorite Olympic sport to watch? I do love to watch them all! Including Curling. What an interesting sport!! I think I even am getting the hang of it!

Today's card was one that I did with my club this month. I used the Color Throwdown challenge to help me put this card together. Here are the details:

  • Card base is Crumb Cake
  • Layer of Crumb Cake that was run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder
  • Stamp the sentiment from Perfect Pennants onto Whisper White with Real Red ink and then cut out using the Banners framelits then adhere to embossed panel
  • Tie a piece of Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon around panel and adhere to card base with dimensionals
  • Stamp flower image from Flower Shop onto Pink Pirouette card stock with Real Red ink and punch out using the Pansy punch
  • Stamp small flower image from Petite Petals onto Pink Pirouette card stock with Real Red ink and punch out using the Petite Petals punch and adhere to larger flower
  • Cut the leafy stem from Pistachio Pudding card stock with the Little Leaves sizzlet and adhere to back of flower then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Add a rhinestone to flower center
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!!
