Good Thursday morning everyone and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! Even though it is Thanksgiving, the Create with Connie and Mary challenge continues! This week's challenge is to make a small Thanksgiving favor. Hmmm... This one was a little tough for me. We don't usually do Thanksgiving favors so I had to think about this.

I pulled out my Candy Wrapper die and made this cute little favor box up! Instead of making the ends into the candy wrapper I glued down one end of it into a box (I think I had to make some cuts to make this work), then pinched the top together to make a sort of milk carton. Cute! Lots of fun things can fit in here. I used a piece of Crumb cake cardstock and die cut the Little Leaves sizzlet. But I used the negative part of it (the part that you would normally throw away) as a stencil. I used More Mustard, Old Olive, and Cajun Craze and sponged the color onto the Crumb Cake piece using my stencil. Note: I did the sponging before I ran it through the Big Shot. Then I just embellished it a little and there you have it!

So eat your big turkey dinners and enjoy your family time (I know I am) and then when you are ready, check out the other designers' ideas for more inspiration.
