Good morning, Friends! It's Thursday once again! These weeks sure seem to be flying by! But I do hope you're ready for another FUN challenge at Create with Connie and Mary! This week we are being challenged with color. And what fabulous colors they are! Take a look!!
Poppy Parade, Pool Party and Basic Black. Don't you just love these colors together?! Here is what I came up with. Take a look!
My card base is Pool Party. I took a piece of Pool Party designer paper and adhered a strip of Basic Black that was punched with the dotted ribbon scallop punch. I just love those little scallops peeking out! This panel is adhered to the card. Then I took a piece of Whisper White and made it into a tag. I stamped the tree and sentiment from Thoughts & Prayers in Basic Black. I added a Pool Party brad and a bit of Basic Black satin ribbon. This is popped up onto the card. The last thing I did was to add a flower that was punched from Poppy Parade with the itty bitty shapes punch pack and a pearl.
Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary website to get more inspiration from the other fabulous designers! Then create your own project and upload it so that we can all take a look! I always love to see what you do with these challenges! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

ReplyDeleteThis card is so pretty with just a dash of poppy and black! It's the perfect sympathy card or one for an illness. I love these simple things that you can just make up in a hurry when the need arises. Great working with you on Create!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa, just a little pop of Pool Party makes a stand on the other colors and I so like the ribbon pull on the end of your tag layer. Cute card as always!
