TGIF!!! This is the last Friday of school for the year! Yea!! Only four more days! Nick is really excited! Today is also the day Sketch Frenzy Friday has a new challenge. This week's sketch is provided by Patrice Herrera. Take a look!
And here is what I came up with...
Yes. I know that it is quite a stretch. I just couldn't visualize what I would do with the three panels. So I decided to make it appear as there were three different panels. Again, this is a stretch but I do like the way it came out. I took a piece of Concord Crush and stamped the flourish from Baroque Motifs in VersaMark and embossed it with clear emboss powder. Then I stamped the other two images onto Whisper White with Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz and cut them out. I adhered the leaves to the flower and added a punched flower from Concord Crush using the Boho Blossoms punch and an antique brad. This is popped up onto the panel which is popped up onto the card. Then I added the greeting that was stamped in Concord Crush onto a strip of Whisper White with the end flagged. I tucked this behind the flower because I felt like that balanced the card better. So this is my take on the sketch and I do hope it inspires you to stretch yourself as well!
