Good morning, Friends! I hope your week got off to a great start! It was nice to be home. I got some laundry done and I did a little sewing. I even made a card! I can tell the days are shortening up! It is taking a little longer for the sun to come up in the morning. But it still manages to get pretty hot during the day. I have a massage today and that's a good thing as I have a huge knot in my lower back. It's killing me! And then I will be on the hunt because we have a cricket in our bedroom who is quite noisy at night!
Today's card was inspired by Mary Jo's lunchtime sketch challenge. This sketch was last week's. I didn't get it posted in time to enter but I still wanted to show it. It worked out perfectly for this new stamp set, Winter Memories. I adhered a piece of Crumb Cake to a piece of Cherry Cobbler and then to the card base of Crumb Cake. I stamped the image from Winter Memories in black StazOn onto Very Vanilla and watercolored it with a blender pen and various inks. Then I added two strips of Not Quite Navy that were cut with the Tasteful Trim die. This is popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the sentiment in black StazOn onto a strip of Very Vanilla, flagged both ends and adhered it to the card. I added two rhinestones and called it done! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
