Good morning, Friends! Another week is beginning! And this is the last week of summer for the kids returning back to school! Next week at this time, Nick will be getting ready for his first day! Oh, yes! He is so excited!! NOT!! Lol! I think that he will be once it gets here, but he is really enjoying every bit of his summer! I however, am ready for him to be out of the house so I don't have to run him around everywhere! I can get back to a routine and get things done. That will be nice! Today he will be spending time with a friend and I need to get my last bit of preparation done for my workshop tonight!
Today's card was inspired by one I saw in a PaperCrafts magazine. It was a new one that I picked up at the book store. It had this sketch in there and this is what I came up with! A very simple card but I do like the way it came out! And it is a great way to use up those pieces of designer paper that we always seem to have left. I started by cutting a piece of the Twitterpated designer paper into panels and then I adhered them to a piece of Whisper White. This is glued to a piece of Island Indigo and then popped up onto a card base of Whisper White. I stamped the greeting from Made for You in Island Indigo. Then I ran a piece of Rich Razzleberry through the Big Shot with the Beautiful Wings embosslit. I adhered two of them together and then to the card. I added three small pearls to the center and called it done!! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
